IMMIGRATION 2020: What’s Your Question?
It is 2020 and millions of Americans are wondering, where do our politicians stand on immigration? Do they support the wall? Will they fund it? What else will they do to stop the caravans at the southern border? What measures will they take to protect American jobs? Do they really believe that illegal aliens have the right to vote in our elections?
These are the questions. And the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) is here to help you get the answers. We want to make sure that America’s lawmakers are hearing the concerns of real Americans like you, and that they are being held accountable to the people they represent.
Want to get involved? Here is what to do:
Step One: Record a cell phone video of yourself asking your immigration question. Make sure to state your first name and the state that you live in. Keep it short – aim for 30 seconds or less, and make sure that you are stating a clear, immigration-related, question.
Here are some example questions and topics:
- Do you support E-Verify to protect American workers?
- Do you support Sanctuary cities, even though they create safe havens for criminal illegal aliens?
- Do you believe there should be a limit to how many people should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. each year? What number would you propose?
- Why should American taxpayers have to foot the bill for illegal aliens in their states?
Step Two: Send your video to [email protected] along with your contact information. FAIR’s video team will be reviewing all video submissions and upon approval will be posted on our social media channels. Some videos will also be selected to run as advertisements on YouTube and Facebook nationwide!
Step Three: If your video submission is chosen, you will receive a follow-up email from FAIR’s video team, verifying your state information. Your video will then get a chance to reach tens of thousands of people in a social media advertising campaign targeted at your home state!
