American Military Veterans Forced to Give Up Hotel Rooms to Migrants

President Joe Biden’s border crisis is now striking in the town of Foxborough, Massachusetts, home of the 2023 Army-Navy game. Thanks to a surge of migrants and an insane “right to shelter” law, attendees of the game are finding out their hotel rooms have been given away.

To who? Well, migrants, of course!

What a nasty surprise for those who booked rooms for the game.

Massachusetts, where the 2023 Army-Navy game is held, is a “right to shelter” state. The law requires housing for illegal aliens, in addition to other services like medical care, education, and food assistance.

Because of the “right to shelter” law, service academy graduates, military veterans and their families excited to attend the big game are getting bad news: their hotel reservations are canceled to make room for migrants per the governor’s orders.

A travel agent handling reservations for military families shed light on the situation, saying 70 rooms across three hotels were “taken back” by hotels to use for arriving migrants.

The travel agent added, “I have enough rooms to cover some of the people. Some people are looking around but pricing is very high. For many, the issue is safety … they are questioning the safety of remaining hotels located near those that are now filled with migrants. Lots of questions by my clients and most hotels are scrambling to come up with safety protocols.”

Angry? Outraged? You should be. But that doesn’t seem to be the case for the hotel management company operating the properties now housing migrants.

A spokeswoman for the company reportedly said, “We are delighted to confirm that we are indeed taking refugees at our hotel.” Is she delighted U.S. service members had their rooms taken away?

Numerous service academy graduates have taken to social media to express frustration with the news that their hotel rooms were given away to migrants due to the “right to shelter” law.

Fans are scrambling to find new lodging ahead of the sold-out game.

In a country with a functioning, secure border, Americans wouldn’t have to worry about losing out on hotel rooms to make room for migrants. But Biden has handed control of the border to the cartels and has let the invasion occur.

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey declared a state of emergency over the number of migrants flooding the state. Massachusetts is just one of several liberal “sanctuary” states suffering the consequences of illegal immigration. 

The American people continue to suffer at the hands of Biden’s open border. Every state is a border state.
