Stop Illegal Aliens from Getting In-State Tuition
SB 207 grants in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens currently enrolled in Indiana colleges and universities. The bill passed the Senate and has been sent to the House for consideration and has been assigned to the House Education Committee.SB 177 is a bill that would require U.S. armed forces veterans to prove their legal residency in the state of Indiana before they can apply for college in-state tuition rates! This bill is also before the House Education Committee and places higher standards on our veterans than those who are here illegally in the United States! We are asking that all Indiana tax payers and concerned citizens call and email their elected officials, especially those on the House Education Committee, and voice your opposition to these bills. The Federal Government recently announced that they are discontinuing college assistance funds for our loyal veterans…..and now Indiana is going out of its way to provide financial assistance to illegal aliens!Toll Free Numbers for Indiana House:1-800-382-9841 and 1-800-382-9842The people most responsible for shepherding SB 207 through the House are:
