Other Ways to Support FAIR
In addition to membership and general donations, there are other opportunities for making financial contributions to FAIR including:
Matching Gifts
Matching gift programs are a good way to maximize the impact of your gift. Many companies offer matching gift programs to their employees. This is a great way to support FAIR because it can double and sometiems triple your contribution. Check with your employer to determine your company's matching gift policies and procedures or visit the online directory to find out if your company will match your contribution to FAIR.
If your employer will match your gift to FAIR, please complete the appropriate form and mail it with a copy of your gift receipt. We will take it from there.
Gifts of Stock
Advantages of Gifts of Securities:
If you itemize deductions on your federal income tax return, you may be able to deduct your contribution from your adjusted gross income AND avoid capital gains tax on the appreciated value of the securities. If the stock has depreciated, it's best to sell it, deduct the investment loss, and give the proceeds to FAIR. This way you get a deduction for both the investment loss and the charitable gift. (Talk to your tax advisor for deduction, tax requirements, and limitations).
How to give:
You or your broker should contact FAIR's broker, Diane Cabrales of RBC Wealth Management, (202)661-9500, diane.cabrales@RBC.com or Susanne Nolan, (202)661-9552, susanne.nolan@RBC.com.
Cornerstone Contributions
Cornerstone Contributors are the building blocks of FAIR's citizen-supported foundation. Time and time again, through their continuing support they have become key officers in our battle to end the destructive mass immigration that is debilitating our great nation.
Here's how you can become a Cornerstone Contributor:
Pledge to give a specific monthly contribution to FAIR. This donation, electronically transferred conveniently to FAIR each month from your credit card or checking account, is so important because it enables FAIR to count on you to help support our ongoing immigration reform efforts throughout the year.

- Enforce our immigration laws
- Stop terrorists at our borders
- Restore jobs for American workers
- Find a balance between people and natural resources
FAIR participates in other workplace giving campaigns too. Please see if we’re included in yours, or as if write-ins are accepted.
The immigration issue has never been bigger, and that means the challenges—and the opportunities—are greater than ever. As America approaches a defining moment in its immigration history, your pledge to FAIR in the 2012 Combined Federal Campaign is needed now more than ever. Look for Federation for American Immigration Reform #11696 in your campaign catalog.
