Petition to President Bush and Congressional LeadershipTo:
We the American people demand that you, our nation's leaders, make solving the illegal immigration problem our top national priority. America is facing a severe immigration crisis. The time for enforcement and regaining control of our immigration system is now. I am signing this petition today to add my voice in support of H.R. 4313, the TRUE Enforcement and Border Security Act of 2005. This new legislation, introduced in the House of Representatives by Congressmen Duncan Hunter (R-CA) and Virgil Goode (R-VA), is the ONLY fully comprehensive immigration enforcement solution before Congress. TRUE Enforcement will secure the border, put teeth into interior enforcement, add detention space and increase workplace enforcement. It will also address the less obvious incentives that make illegal immigration so attractive, and it finally gives us the opportunity to end illegal immigration. We rely on you, our nation's leaders, to take a stand for putting immigration enforcement first. Please use your leadership power to get the TRUE Enforcement and Border Security Act of 2005 enacted and implemented immediately. The future of this great country depends on it. |
