New FAIR Conference: The Impact of Illegal Immigration on State Governments

FAIR’s highly successful series of regional immigration reform conferences is coming to Missouri. Please join citizens, state and local law enforcement, and elected officials from across the country who will gather in Kansas City for an all-day conference to identify the problems and prepare strategies for confronting the challenges of uncontrolled illegal immigration.

This conference will feature presentations from prominent national experts on immigration, including Professor Vernon Briggs of Cornell University, Professor Kris Kobach of the University of Missouri Law School, Michael Hethmon of the Immigration Reform Law Institute, Jared Lewis, a national gang expert and Steven Camarota, the Director of Research for the Center for Immigration Studies. Topics to be covered include:

  • Wage and job displacement of American workers
  • In-state tuition for illegal alien students
  • City sanctuary policies
  • Gang violence
  • Local law enforcement officer training
  • Health care, welfare and education

The cost of the conference includes a Friday night reception, the all-day conference on Saturday (including conference materials), and a continental breakfast and lunch.
