Give Priority to American Jobs!!

Sign This Petition to Speaker Boehner and Majority Leader Reid Telling Them to Put American Workers First by Mandating Use of E-Verify For All Employers!

President Obama made a commitment to create and protect American jobs in his State of the Union address. There is a very easy way to do that right now — make the use of E-Verify mandatory for all employers!

Using E-Verify would guarantee that any new investment in job creation by our government goes to American workers. As of today, more than 225,000 employers use E-Verify to easily validate the employment eligibility of prospective employees, ensuring that jobs are going to those that are legally authorized to work in the U.S. With the new Congress embracing an "enforcement first" agenda on immigration, this is a great opportunity to finally make E-Verify a requirement. But we need your help to get this message to House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV).

Your voices will be heard! All the digital signatures will be delivered to Speaker Boehner and Majority Leader Reid on April 6, 2011, by one of our activists.

Help us remind politicians in Washington about their commitment to the American worker by signing our petition. And don't forget to forward it to your friends and colleagues!

To: House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH)
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV)

Any new investment in job creation by our government should ensure that the jobs go to American workers. This can be done today by mandating the use of the successful E-Verify program.

With over seven million jobs currently held by illegal aliens, this mandate could help put millions of out of work Americans back on the payrolls. Congress has embraced an "enforcement first" agenda on immigration, and this is a great opportunity to finally make E-Verify a requirement.

Don't let the millions of unemployed American workers down. Make E-Verify a requirement for all employers today!
