President Obama has made a commitment to create and protect American jobs. But recently he seemed to have backtracked on some of his earlier campaign promises, and FAIR would like to remind him that further appeasement of the immigration amnesty lobby will hurt attempts to bring down unemployment and threatens our country's economic stability.
Any new investment in job creation by our government should ensure that the jobs go to American workers. One of the ways to guarantee this is to reauthorize the successful E-Verify program and make it a requirement for all government contractors and any government-sponsored public works program.
