The open borders lobby and mass amnesty special interest groups are at it again. They are out on the airwaves promoting what they call “comprehensive immigration reform” and saying that amnesty would benefit our economy. Nothing could be further from the truth.
At FAIR we carefully researched this issue and developed studies and summaries that highlight how disastrous a mass amnesty program would be for U.S. taxpayers. We recently released two studies (Amnesty and the Economy, and Amnesty and Joblessness) which take a detailed look at this debate and provide an educated argument as to why amnesty is the wrong idea at the wrong time. We hope that you will take the time to read through these two reports.
After reading these documents, I hope you are convinced that an amnesty for the 13 million illegal aliens in this country is not the answer.
